How to Cancel Holds:

Holds may be placed on books and library materials at any of the Connecticut State University libraries. You typically place a hold on a book that is checked out so that you will be the first to receive it when it is returned, or to request a book from another CSU library. (see the Request A Hold Feature)

If you place a hold on a book and then decide that you do not need the book, you may cancel the hold through your library record options.

The screen to the right shows a sample library record with the option 1 Request (hold) Outstanding. Clicking this link will display a the 2nd screen on the right.

To cancel a hold, clickc the check-box next to the hold you wish to cancel and click the CANCEL SELECTED HOLDS button. Or you may click the CANCEL ALL button to cancel all open holds.
